Our little group of friend's have committed to doing at least one camping trip a year together and this year, it brought us to beautiful Caple's Lake.
Since we waited until later in the summer, the drought restricted us to a "real" campground so that we could actually have campfires and because of this we were worried that we might not make it to one of the "first come, first serve" sites that were available. But not to worry! Our friend Colt took the day off work to ensure us a spot and we basked in the cool weather that was quite a nice break from the warmer temperatures down the hill.
We fished and lounged and played washers and even witnessed an awesome summer storm that brought us thunder and lightening and a quick, but measurable hail storm (in fact, the biggest hail I've ever seen!)
So here it, is the best type of blog post, one full of pictures!
